Sabero Organics Gujarat Limited (Sabero) is in the business of Crop protection since
1991. It manufactures and markets vide range of Fungicides, Herbicides, Insecticides
& Specialty Chemicals. Over the years, Sabero has gained expertise in its business
and is a significant player in India in the field of Crop Protection. With manufacturing
facilities in India and marketing offices in India, Brazil, Europe, Australia and
Argentina, Sabero supplies its products to a large number of customers including
multi-national corporations across the globe.
Sabero became a member of the US $
4.4 billion diversified Murugappa Group, having significant presence in fertilizers,
sugar, engineering and financial services. Consequent to the acquisition by Coromandel
International Ltd.(Coromandel). Sabero became subsidiary of Coromandel effective
17th December, 2011.
Coromandel is a leader in Agri inputs involved in manufacture
and marketing of Fertilizers, Crop Protection Chemicals, Specialty Nutrients, Organic
Fertilisers and Retail with an annual turnover of Rs.9,823 Crore in 2011-12 (USD
1.93 billion). Coromandel was ranked among the top 20 best companies to work for
by Business Today and was also voted as one of the ten greenest companies in India
by TERI, reflecting its commitment to the environment and society.
Today, Sabero along with the Crop Protection business of Coromandel is a key player
and a force to reckon with in the field of Crop Protection.
